An Evening With Marilyn: An Intimate Look at the Legend

A benefit for the United Way of Santa Cruz County

March 17th, 2012
Chaminade Resort & Spa

One of United Way’s friends owns one of the largest private collections of Marilyn Monroe collectibles -including clothing, documents, and personal effects - and is generously sharing his collection to exhibit for the benefit of the United Way of Santa Cruz County before the collection is taken on tour to Europe later in the Spring.

There are two events planned - a exhibit of the collection during the day and then a gala dinner in the evening, with a special presentation from the collection, entertainment, a live auction and more.

The United Way will be selling tickets for the daytime event - and this is a wonderful way to see this extraordinary exhibit.

More details will be available at: unitedwaysc.org/Marilyn.php This will be the one and only time that this exhibit will be in Santa Cruz County.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a “noninterest-bearing transaction account” are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term “noninterest-bearing transaction account” includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs").  It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.

For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
