Lighthouse Bank Announces Return of Jon P. Sisk, Appointment as President of the Bank

Santa Cruz, California: February 5, 2016 - Lighthouse Bank (OTC: LGHT) announced today the return of veteran local banker and founding member, Jon P. Sisk. Mr. Sisk will join the Bank as President, effective February 8, 2016.  

Mr. Sisk assumes his new role with the Bank upon the retirement of current President and CEO, Richard Hofstetter. Lane S. Lawson, the Bank’s Chief Credit Officer, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. The Bank announced the planned retirement of President and CEO, Richard Hofstetter in mid-2015. 

Lighthouse Bank Receives Top Award - Santa Cruz County's Only Local 5-star "Superior" rated bank! 


September 6, 2013 - Lighthouse Bank's strong financial performance was once again recognized by industry analysts.  The Bank was awarded a 5-Star "Superior" rating by Bauer Financial Inc., an independent bank research firm based upon quarter-ended June 30, 2013 results. This is the 4th consecutive quarter that the Bank has been rated as a 5-Star institution. The rating is the highest given by Bauer Financial, Inc.

April 9, 2012 - Lighthouse Bank was recognized as the top rated bank on the Central Coast, according to a report released by FMC Consulting Group.  The Bank ranked 12th among the 230 State Charted Banks in California based on 20l1 operating results.  The report analyzes banks based upon a number of key performance factors including asset quality, earnings and operational efficiency. 

Lighthouse Bank’s strong financial performance has been widely recognized by industry analysts.  The Bank was recently named a 4-Star “Excellent” bank by Bauer Financial Inc, an independent bank research firm.  The Findley Reports, Inc., named Lighthouse Bank a “Super Premier” Performing Bank based upon its 2011 operating results.  The designation is the highest rating established by the highly regarded financial industry consulting firm.

The United Way of Santa Cruz County recently awarded us with a Silver award for our 2011 Workplace Campaign. Each year, our employees open their hearts - and their pockets - helping the United Way to reach their goals working with local nonprofit health and human services programs to help provide and create opportunities for a good life for all. Lighthouse Bank Board Member Bruce McPherson accepted the award on behalf of our employees at the community celebration luncheon held at the Cocoanut Grove.

 Lighthouse Bank Builds Houses for Humanity


Lighthouse Bank volunteers recently spent a day building at the Habitat for Humanity project on Frederick Street in Santa Cruz.  Building each Habitat home is truly a community effort.

Bowl for Kids' Sake!

Lighthoue Bank staff and management had a blast during the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraiser. All funds raised at the event go directly toward matching children with caring mentors. This year, Lighthouse Bank showed up with dozens of volunteers and collected nearly $4,000 in donations!  


Lighthouse Bank is recognized as Business of the Year!

Family Service Agency of the Central Coast is a private, non-profit agency serving the community since 1957. They offer a variety of clinical, crisis, educational, outreach and supportive services designed to maintain and strengthen family and community life. The agency recently announced Lighthouse Bank as Business of the Year in recognition of the special services the Bank provides to the local non-profit community.

 Kids Night Out

Members of the Lighthouse Bank staff recently spent an evening at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz, participating at their annual Kids Night Out event. The event matches a club member with a community volunteer for a night of games, art, food, and music.


United Way Workplace Campaign

During our first ever United Way workplace campaign, Lighthouse Bank employees generously donated over $5,800 to help improve the lives of people in Santa Cruz County. The campaign was so successful that the United Way of Santa Cruz County recognized us as the “Outstanding New Campaign”.
